Bob's Barbecue Beef Brisket
Oven Style
½ cup Mesquite Flavored Liquid Smoke
¼ cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 tsp. Lowry's Season All Salt
Bob’s Blasting Powder (BBP)
1 ea. Beef Brisket, 7 to 8 lbs., Trimmed
½ ea. White Onion, sliced
Heat oven to 225°F. In a small bowl combine liquid smoke, brown sugar, garlic powder and Lowry’s Season All salt. Mix well. Line a shallow baking pan with foil leaving enough to wrap brisket and seal later on. Place meat in foil and spread seasoning mixture evenly over meat. Sprinkle BBP on meat like salt and pepper. Add onion, close foil securely. Bake for 3 ½ to 4 hours or until meat is cooked through and tender.
Open foil and roll back exposing brisket. Spread evenly 1 cup of Bubba-Q-Sauce on brisket. Continue baking another 10 minutes. Serve with additional barbecue sauce.
