Bubba-Q-Sauce
¾ cup Granulated Sugar
½ cup Dark Brown Sugar, packed
2/3 cup Rich, dark beef base made from double strength beef bouillon or consommé
1 quart Hot Water
2/3 cup French's Prepared Mustard
1/3 cup White Vinegar
1/3 cup Liquid Smoke
2/3 cup Worchestershire Sauce
12 oz. Tomato Paste
3 Tbs Chili Powder
5 ea Jalapeño Peppers, finely diced
1 Tbs Cayenne Pepper
In a 3 quart sauce pan, mix the sugars and the beef base in the water. Cook over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved. Add remaining ingredients and simmer, uncovered, over low heat for 2 hours. Can be bottled in old squeeze type Ketchup bottle and stored in refrigerator for several weeks, but I doubt it'll last long !!!
